Is verification free for collectors?
Always. Scanning a label to verify is free, no account required. The artist or gallery is the customer -- not the collector.
How does Shamir split billing work?
A Shamir 2-of-3 split generates 3 labels but counts as 1 figure for billing. We never penalize artists for using the premium feature.
What happens if I go over my plan limit?
We use a soft cap. If an Indie artist generates 55 figures (50 included), we let it through and show a gentle upgrade nudge. Hard block at 2x plan limit.
Can I use Figure at DesignerCon without a subscription?
Yes. Event pricing is a one-time charge. After the show, you can convert to a monthly subscription if you want ongoing access.
Do I need to create an account to verify a figure?
No. Verification works without an account. Creating an account lets collectors save figures to their portfolio and track provenance.
